In Ep. 3 I would like to take you drive through Tuscany region with us and I guarantee you will not disappoint because here is one of the most beautiful scenaric view in the world.

This road trip we travel through Tuscany by car for 4 days and 3 nights.

Start from rental car office in Florence. We booked a car in advance and we bought super cover insurance in case of unfortunate event it will safe us.

We had Fiat 500 for this trip. Super cute car.

You can use GPS maps if you buy internet sim card and prepare well about your battery or you can download application and marks the route of your trip and then download off line maps on your smartphone, we recommend map.me application, it can work even you don't have internet signal.

Our first stop was Castellina in Chianti, a municipality of c. 2,800 inhabitants in the province of Siena.

After we finished Castellina in Chianti and then we moved to Chianti, located in Chianti region, in central Tuscany. There is popular Chianti wine in this town. So let's see.

Here is a standard shaped wine bottles of Chianti wine enclosed in a traditional fiasco; It was historically associated with a squat bottle enclosed in a straw basket, called a fiasco.

Here is Gelateria Dondoli, this shop has won Gelato world champion in year 2006/2007 and 2008/2009 so we need to line up to taste even long queue.

After Chianti we moved to Siena, the city we stayed for 1 night.

Before we arrived Siena, we stopped at Castello di Monteriggioni. There are lavender fields along the footpath.

And then we arrived at Siena, the historic centre of Siena has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. It is one of the nation's most visited tourist attractions in Tuscany region.


We booked hotel in the city center of Siena but have to park a car at the car park and walked, so if you did something like us you should bring only 1 backpack and leave luggage in the car it will be easy and comfortable for traveling.

Siena Cathedral is a medieval church in Siena, dedicated from its earliest days as a Roman Catholic Marian church, and now dedicated to the Assumption of Mary.

Before we left Siena we also had Chinese food again.

Day 2nd

Our plan was going to see beautiful view point and Landscape of Tuscany include Moltacino, San Quirico d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni and Farmhouse Poggio Covilli so don't miss our destination and nice photos I took to show you.

Before we go absolutely we needed gas.


The first stop was Montalcino, a hill town and comune in the province of Siena.










It is known for its Brunello di Montalcino wine.







Next stoped was San Quirico d'Orcia, a municipality of about 2,500 inhabitants in the Province of Siena with beautiful scenery. In 2004 the entire valley, the Val d'Orcia, was included on the list of UNESCO's World Cultural Landscapes.

Our dinner before took a rest at the hotel.


We stayed for 2 night at Hotel Sangallo in Montalcino, the hotel was very nice with beautiful landscape from balcony.

Here was the rainbow view from hotel balcony. Really spectacular.





Day 3rd

View in the morning from balcony also really nice. I recommended Hotel Sangallo in Montalcino if you want to travel in Tuscany. The good place to stay include breakfast.



On day 3rd the left hotel and visit Pienza, a town and comune in the province of Siena, In 1996, UNESCO declared the town a World Heritage Site.

After we did road trip through Tuscany for 4 days we went back to Florence to returned the car and then we caught the train to Venice. You can follow us to the next episode of Venice.
